Upper James River Part 1

If you are looking for a different kind of adventure that won't break the bank try a river trip. The James River in Virginia is a great place to start. If you are a fisherman a kayak enthusiast or a mixture of both you will find more than you bargained for beginning in Botetourt county Virginia. I have recently been floating and fishing sections of the river with my daughter and we have had a great time. I am a native of Virginia and am fortunate to live near great river access points. We have experienced an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty floating right in our home town basically. As a kid I used to love floating the river and had gotten away from day trips and float fishing as life got busier. I wanted my daughter to share these experiences so I am back at it again and having a great time. I highly recommend giving the James River some attention. Bring your poles and cameras.
